Kristen’s gift for understanding human movement comes from a desire to reduce her own pain associated with postural imbalances and misalignment. Certified in personal training (NFPT), Pilates (STOTT) and holistic health (CHEK-HLC3), Kristen has been working as a fitness professional since 2001. Her experience working in a Sports Medicine clinic gave her insight to aid clients back to functional health. She also gained a wide breadth of experience working with clients whose needs ranged from cardiac rehab, pre and post-op bariatric, pre and postnatal, ACL and rotator cuff reconstruction, to knee and hip replacement. Incorporating holistic principles (thinking, breathing, sleeping, hydration, nutrition, movement) in her training and coaching, clients receive a unique experience catered to their unique needs. She brings to Balance Fitness Studio a wealth of knowledge and a passion for helping others achieve a strong and balanced mind and body.
A Michigan native, Kristen studied theatre performance and human biology at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay. Since opening Balance in 2012, she has striven to provide a space for practitioners and clients to feel nourished, communicate better with their bodies, and heal in a peaceful, holistic environment.
