Restore Your Core
Up to 5 People
Restore Your Core! Your core should be working all day long—not only when you exercise. It should “turn on” when you pick up a child or a bag of groceries; reach to put away dishes; when you sneeze (without leaking even…) AND during exercise. RYC™ retrains your core to fire automatically as needed. Through alignment, breath, spinal mobility and carefully designed exercises you’ll teach your core to support your body reflexively, as it should. RYC™ is safe and effective for those with core or pelvic floor issues such as pressure incontinence (sneeze pee), diastasis recti, pelvic floor issues, back, neck and hip stiffness. This 4 week session is a great introduction to begin your journey back to a strong, functional core!

Encouraging Positive Body Images in Kids and Teens
Up to 20 People
Join Trina Bockus, of Trina Bockus Life Coaching, for this one-time event!
Do you remember the first time you thought there was something wrong with your body? I was 7 or 8. My brother was described as skinny and I was described as average. Somehow at this young age I understood that was less ok than skinny. By the time I was a 13 I thought I was fat. Like me, many kids have a negative view of their bodies. 40% of elementary school girls and 25% of elementary school boys want to be thinner. These numbers are even higher for teens. Negative body image in kids and teens has been tied to low self-esteem, disordered eating, and in some cases the development of eating disorders.
If this sounds messed up, the good news is there is a lot that you can do to help your kids develop a more positive body image. Join me for an interactive workshop where we will discuss how to model positive behavior for your kids and how talk to them about eating, exercise, bodies, and the media while working through real life examples. It is never too early or too late to address our kids' body image.

Two Day Course

Teenage girls today are pulled in more directions than ever before. The pressure to be perfect – academically, socially and physically – have intensified while sexual objectification and expectations have increased. The ever-present nature of social media in our lives has made it seemingly impossible to unplug from the comparison syndrome that stems from a feed of girls who look prettier, skinnier or happier. In this modern world where technology connects us all, we find ourselves feeling more isolated than ever before. Never before has it been more important for girls to be clear about who they are, what lights them up and where their boundaries lie.
Dragonfly Girls is a movement for young women ages 13-18 to develop a strong, healthy relationship with their authentic selves. We create a safe environment for girls to openly share their struggles, strengths, relationships and limiting beliefs. Through self-awareness and the power of sisterhood, they will leave feeling empowered, strong and equipped with the tools to deal with the challenges they face during this transitional time in their lives.
